Planner’s Comments:
Oakwell Hall is comparatively small and not very technical so it was reasonably easy to plan the shorter courses, but much more of a challenge to fit in the light green and green courses.
As the green course covered the whole area twice it would have been difficult to plan any longer courses hence the score event. This also produced its own challenge when we realised that, if run as a straight forward score event, it could have been completed too quickly. So we had to add the element of odds and evens to make it more of a challenge.
