Final Safety Details:Cagoules, whistle and full leg cover are compulsory. All competitors must be aware that due to the cold weather there will be ice on the paths due to standing water. This is expected to freeze overnight and is unlikely to clear before the event starts. Please take care.
Parking and Download/Enquiries: Parking in Camira factory bottom car park and roadside along East side of Meltham Mills Road. Please park considerately.
Toilets: Between Parking and Download/Enquiries.
Entries: Entries are now closed. Entries closed on 18 November. There will be NO Entry on Day
Start Times: Timed starts between 10.30 and 12.30 (Please note: Courses will close promptly at 2pm. If you expect to take long time on a course, you must pick an earlier start time)
Punching: Si Punching. SIAC touch free Punching will be enabled. Competitors must punch Start and Finish.
Terrain: Mixed woodland with steep hillside to North West.
Courses: Competitors may enter any course but, to be included in the Superleague rankings, they must enter the appropriate course for their age group.

Warning! There is a deep crag which will be taped off at the top. All courses are designed to avoid this.
Safety: A comprehensive risk assessment will be carried out by the organiser, but competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. If you have a medical condition that first aiders should know about in an emergency, please contact the organiser with details before the event, or fill in a form at registration. These details will only be used for the purposes of this event and can be collected or will otherwise be deleted/destroyed afterwards.
Insurance: Please note that if you are not a member of an orienteering club affiliated to British Orienteering then you are not covered by our public liability insurance except if you are a newcomer to orienteering, in which case you are covered for three registered orienteering events without joining. Please ask any of our club officials for more information if you would like to join EPOC.
